National Dessert Month
Is there anything better than Fall in Philadelphia? The leaves are falling, pumpkin spice fills the air, the crisp fall wind has snuck up on us in the most pleasant way and most importantly October is National Dessert Month! While we are excited to feature our new dessert menu full of figs and pumpkin spice, we can’t stop thinking about one of our most popular desserts on our summer menu… the Farmers Cheesecake.
This cheesecake is like no other. Almost like a deconstructed cherry cheesecake, but better. Our Farmers Cheesecake features honey Chantilly, melt in your mouth pulled brittle, pecans, and red wine cherry compote for the most amazing tart taste to balance the sweet accompaniments, topped with a delicious dollop of whipped cream. It’s the perfect size to share with a loved one or to indulge by yourself. This summer favorite was even featured in PhillyBite Magazine highlighting Urban Farmer Philadelphia as a hot spot to enjoy National Cheesecake Day on July 30th.
The city has begun to bustle again with school in session and many festivals, marathons, and new museum exhibits to be seen. Fall in the city is unique and diverse and we’re ready to showcase our new Fall menu, which is just that. While National Dessert Month is in October, we couldn’t resist highlighting this amazing dessert. It is hard to let the summer go, but we’re excited for our Fall desserts to come and celebrate National Dessert Month with desserts just as delightful as our Farmers Cheesecake!
