Saint Patrick’s Day is all about luck, and if we’re able to bring a little luck someone’s way then we certainly try our best! While corned beef and cabbage are trademark St. Patty’s Day treats, we went the sweet route, with cookies and breads. This Saint Patrick’s Day, we worked with our incredible pastry team to sell adorable shamrock themed cookies, and classic Irish soda bread for a charity based bake sale to raise money for CORE (Children of Restaurant Employees).
Throughout the month, we had internal employees and guests of Urban Farmer pre-order amazing treats to pick up the day before the holiday to bring home to friends and family. The atmosphere in the office was uplifted by the scent of warm cookies and fresh baked bread. What a way to start the weekend off!
We were thrilled to have raised over $200 for CORE, helping make a difference in other’s lives. With something sweet, and a little luck, you’re bound to make someone’s day.
