The holidays are never complete without a table full of baked goods, so we were thrilled to have a group of participants join us for our first Pastry Class. Our exceptional Pastry Team gave a guided lesson for the holiday baking staple: The Bûche de Nöel. This beautiful pastry is designed to look like a Yule Log, making it the perfect Christmas dessert.
Our participants enjoyed sparkling wine as Chef George and his team walked them through the motions step by step in our pastry kitchen, giving hands on experience to guests who chose to get a little more involved. They were provided recipe cards to take home and replicate the experience in their own kitchen.
After the lesson, the guests headed upstairs for a special reception with plenty of treats from mini cheesecakes to house-made bon bons. They were also invited to have a taste of the bûche de nöel that they made during their lesson and the gorgeous holiday-themed one made by our team earlier in the day. They were given festive eggnog, candy cane, and gingerbread macaroons as a parting gift from our team to end a fun-filled day!
